چکیده

Abstract Background To assess the clinical outcomes of Visian Implantable Collamer Lens (ICL) with a central port throughout 7 years follow-up. Methods Eighty-four eyes 52 patients were evaluated over follow-up period after V4c ICL implantation. Uncorrected (UDVA) and corrected (CDVA) distance visual acuities, refraction, intraocular pressure (IOP), endothelial cell density (ECD) vault analysed. Results The mean postoperative UDVA (logMAR) was 0.04 ± 0.11, 0.13 0.19 0.17 0.23 at 1-, 5- 7-years, respectively ( P < 0.0001). CDVA remains unchanged 7-year (0.02 0.08 0.02 0.08, respectively, = 0.2). At all visits, more than 95% achieved 20/25 or better 85% 20/20. end (7 years), no eye lost lines CDVA, 56 (66.7%) 28 (33.3%) gained CDVA. spherical equivalent ? 0.62 D. No significant increase in IOP (> 20 mmHg an higher 5 mmHg) occurred any case loss ECD from preoperative baseline last visit 2.6%. intraoperative complications adverse events during period. Conclusions this study show long-term viability implantation as surgical option for correction myopia.

Posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens implantation for high myopia.

OBJECTIVE To evaluate the efficacy, safety and stability of posterior chamber phakic intraocular lens (PIOLs) implantation for the correction of high myopia. METHODS Thirty-nine eyes of twenty patients with high myopia (between -11.75 and -25.75 diopters) had a posterior chamber PIOL (Staar ICL) implanted. During 6 - 48 months' follow-up, visual acuity, refraction, intraocular pressure (IOP),...
